Written from a restless outsider’s perspective, this collection of poetry reflects author Linda Chase’s changing emotional and physical landscapes. Having spent half of her life in the United States and half in Great Britain, Chase presents her unique perspective on both countries. Through poetry, Chase’s words examine the effect of time on love and the human body. A section of this work also celebrates her 30-year love and practice of Ta’i Chi by illustrating the mysterious, formal world of movement and meditation.Linda Chase studied creative writing at Bennington College in Vermont and teaches at the Arden School of Theatre in Manchester. She is the author of the collections Young Men Dancing and These Goodbyes and is the founding chairperson of the Forum for Tai Chi and Special Needs. She lives in Manchester, England.
