Commerce is one of the most sought after streams of education in today´s time. However, an analysis of commerce curriculum often reveals course content decontextualised from the society in which the students study, and eventually work. Through an analysis of empirical data, the book addresses the issue of theory-practice link in commerce education at school level. It goes on to raise issues in curriculum development that need to be addressed before commerce curriculum at school level can be reformed.
